Good afternoon WLV PreK and Luis Armijo families. We want to remind you about how to use our parking lot and gate. Please enter through the PreK gate. Then leave through the Luis Armijo parent line. Use the left lane if you pick up from PreK. Use the right lane if you pick up from Kindergarten or 1st grade. Please do not exit through the PreK gate once you have entered the parking lot. Thank you.
This is a friendly reminder that our Student Parent Orientation Barbecue is tonight at 6:00. Tonight's orientation will begin in the WLVMS Gym. This is an opportunity to meet our teachers, discover what is new, tour the buildings, and grab a bite to eat.

This is a friendly reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, July 30th, West Las Vegas Middle School will host a Jump-Start Day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The purpose of this event is to pick up schedules, request schedule changes, and receive any PowerSchool support with the app, accessibility, or forms. To expedite the process, please ensure all PowerSchool Forms A-O are complete.

We know parents will be getting their children ready to return to school. Therefore, we want to share what is and isn't allowable. A student's attire should not disrupt or pose safety hazards. Each student's mode of dress and grooming is a manifestation of personal style and individual preference. It is the district's position to minimize interference with students' and their parents'rights to make decisions about their appearance. Interference will only occur when their choices affect the schools' educational programs or the health and safety of others. Please refer to the attached for guidance.
