Greetings Family Partnership Dons and Lady Dons
As we begin a new school year, we want to ensure a smooth and focused start for all students. Please be advised that, in accordance with the New Mexico State Cell Phone Policy, students will not be allowed to use cell phones in classrooms or in hallways during the school day. This is to promote a learning environment free of distractions and to support academic success.
School starts promptly at 7:55 AM, and we strongly encourage all students to arrive on time, ready to learn. While Family Partnership is an online school we want to make sure that we communicate that you enrolled at an in person online school. With this said you must arrive by 7:55 and stay the entire day at school.
Like West Las Vegas High School, Juniors and Seniors in good standing will be eligible to leave campus for lunch. Freshman and Sophomores will join West Las Vegas High School in their wonderful cafeteria for lunch. All students at all grade levels are eligible for a Free lunch.
If you need a parking pass, please see the secretary at West Las Vegas High School to secure your pass.
Wishing you a wonderful and prosperous school year.

Good Afternoon Dons and Lady Dons
As we begin a new school year, we want to ensure a smooth and focused start for all students. Please be advised that, in accordance with Senate Bill 11 students will not be allowed to use cell phones during instructional hours. This is to promote a learning environment free of distractions and to support academic success. Please be advised that there are consequences for infractions of using cell phones during instructional hours .
School starts promptly at 7:55 AM, and we strongly encourage all students to arrive on time, ready to learn. Letās work together to help our students build strong habits that will lead them to a successful year ā and ultimately, receive the necessary credits to move forward. Making it a habit to arrive on time daily and to all classes develops good habits for success.
If you did not purchase a parking pass, you will need to secure this tomorrow. Also, any students without a schedule can stop by the front office for one. As a reminder... no cell phones, so it will be best if you have a hard copy of your schedule to support your transitions throughout the school day.
Freshman and Sophomores are not eligible to leave campus for lunch. Juniors and Seniors in good standing may leave. Any outside food being brought in will need to be dropped off at the front office.
We are proud to say that West Las Vegas High School is on the Road to Awesome ā and our final destination is nothing less than graduation. Thank you for your continued support in helping our students stay focused, engaged, and on track.

Student Injuries and Insurance
2025-2026
Dear Parent/Legal Guardian:
Your school is committed to providing a safe environment for your student. As such, your school carries accident medical coverage for injuries to students that occur while your student is on campus attending regularly scheduled classes, practicing and playing in interscholastic sports for the school, and while attending events that are directly sponsored by and directly supervised by the school. Please know that your school does not assume responsibility for these costs, and the policy is provided to assist when accidents happen and help with resulting medical treatment. The policy is secondary to any existing primary coverage to assist with any co-pays and deductibles left by primary coverage. But, in the event there is no primary coverage, this policy will act as primary in those instances to assist with medical costs.
Suppose the district student accident insurance policy is your primary coverage for school-related activities and interscholastic sports, and you are asked to provide a policy number. In that case, you should use Ace American Insurance Company SDA N1901292A. If you have primary coverage, youāll want to continue to use your primary coverage policy number when asked to provide it for all school activities.
The attached brochure will help explain the benefits of the school-time plan the school has already purchased for you and who to contact in the event you need to file a claim. Any questions regarding this coverage and claim filing can be directed to Eric Swartz with Myers-Stevens & Toohey at (800) 827-4695.
